After BEBHS: Buddy

This update from an adopter reminds us how thankful we are for our amazing fosters!  The socialization that our animals receive in foster homes is invaluable and a key factor in helping the animal get adopted.

Hello,

We got your message checking in on young Mr. Poseiden--he is doing great! We named him Buddy. It took a few days for him and our other kitten Mimi to warm up to each other, but as you can see they are pals now. They are both very spoiled and well-loved, and they have a great time chasing each other around the house before falling asleep in a pile.

We'd love it if you could thank his foster family for us--they did a really wonderful job helping him to become such a sweet, snuggley, secure little guy. That's why we named him Buddy! Thank you as well for taking him in and providing for him and all the other great cats we met at BEBHS. You guys are awesome.

It's easy to tell that these two are best friends!

After BEBHS is a weekly post where we will feature notes and photos from animals rescued by BEBHS and adopted into their forever homes. If you've adopted a pet from us, we would love to hear from you! Please send update and photos to ksmitley@berkeleyhumane.org.
