Did you know that you can donate a car or boat to BEBHS? Pretty cool, huh? Read on:
Do you have an unsightly and old (or beautiful and brand
new) car or boat that you have been meaning to get rid of? Donating your vehicle to
Berkeley Humane is an easy way to clear out some space, get a tax-deduction,
and help animals -- all at the same time!
Donating your vehicle is easy! Simply call 1-888-686-4483 or
go to https://www.cardonationservices.com/6/donate-a-car-Berkeley---East-Bay-Humane-Society/. We
will accept nearly any vehicle or boat even if it is not running. Don’t believe
that we would take your vehicle, given the condition it is in? Call anyway! 99
percent of the time, we will take it!
You can claim the minimum $500 deduction on your taxes, even if your car
sells for less than $500. If we sell your car for more, you can claim the actual
selling price.
It is not too late to donate your car in order to claim
it for 2012, even if it sells after December 31st. Please call 1-888-686-4483
to get more information.

Great post. I am currently looking for a great car donation charity to donate my old car to. I have donated every car I have ever owned, usually to Purple Heart but I think I want to go with a different charity this time. I will have to look more into this, thanks so much for sharing.
