We are thrilled to release our new video featuring our plans to rebuild the shelter! Broadcasting this video is incredibly exciting for us, and getting the word out to our community that we are ready to rebuild is the first major step in the process.
A devastating fire in 2010 destroyed 80 percent of our space, but we have maintained 100 percent of our commitment to Berkeley and the East Bay's homeless cats and dogs, and we are on track to save more than 750 animals this year!
We are full steam ahead in our rebuild efforts and are ready to turn BEBHS into a state-of-the art facility that supports the unwavering dedication, love, and hard work of our staff and volunteers.
