Indonesia (Indy) and Lulu
came to us first as foster kittes (yup, we're "Foster Failures"!). They
were named Imogene & Ivy and were two super sweet kittens. After
fostering them and seeing how they were totally able to handle life with
my "extra loving" 4 and 7 year olds, we decided to keep them,
eventually settling on new names for both of them.
They're both doing really well, and still totally able to handle the extra love that my girls pile on to them. We did struggle with a lot of diarrhea early on, but since we found the right food for their sensitive tummies that has gone away. They continue to be totally sweet with each other and with everyone they meet. Indy has grown to be a large-ish cat, while Lulu, for whatever reason, remains "petite". So they make a kind of odd couple, with the bigger Indy usually dotting on the smaller Lulu, cleaning her, and settling her in for naps.
They're both super snugly - with each other and with humans. They like nothing more than a lap or a belly to curl up on.
Thanks for helping them come in to our lives - we enjoy their company every day!

After BEBHS is a weekly post where
we will feature notes and photos from animals rescued by BEBHS and
adopted into their forever homes. If you've adopted a pet from us, we would love to hear from you! Please send update and photos to ksmitley@berkeleyhumane.org.
