Going Home: Maya

Hurray for another Woof Wednesday!

Today we're looking at the lovely Maya. She was adopted from us and went home to a very loving and caring family where she proceeded to charm everyone - children and cats included. Her adopters shared a lot of pictures with us, which I hope you will enjoy as much as we did.

In response to a question from an adoption counselor (we like checking in with the families to whom we adopt), we received this message:

"Maya is adjusting great to our family and cats!  Such a sweet personality.  Yes, we would be interested in some training, both crate and potty/housebreaking. "

Don't Maya and her new best friend make an amazing team? We hope they'll have a great time growing up together, with many fun adventures.

As you may have understood from the message from Maya's adopters, people who have adopted animals from Berkeley Humane can always ask us for help when they need an extra hand in training. We have dedicated behavioralists who can teach humans and animals alike. Need a hand? Call our Behavior Advice Line!
