Coming up: 15th anniversary of Bay to Barkers

Only one week is left until our annual fundraiser and dog walk event, Bay to Barkers, will take place. I have attended a number of Bay to Barkers in the past, as a volunteer, participant and board member. What stands out to me the most is the overall sense of community, and a shared love for animals. It's a positive and vibrant energy where people and dogs enjoy connecting with each other in a beautiful setting next to the water.

This year marks a very special anniversary, it will be the fifteenth year that we have organized this fundraising event. Our hope is that this will be the best and biggest year so far! In addition to the one mile walk along the water, we will have a number of dog activities, goodie bags, a silent auction, and a complimentary lunch. We are going to have vendors and sponsors from the community and there is also going to be a BEBHS booth where we will be happy to talk with you about what has been going on with the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society.
